The Texas Twinkies and deviled eggs also come highly recommended for their unexpected but delightful twists.

Excellent food! We grabbed lounge seating at the bar with some friends. Food was amazing! Prices are a bit steep and servings are on the smaller side. But, you get what you pay for. We were here for dinner. Lighting is on the dark romantic side. Service was attentive and caring. I highly recommend the bacon wrapped jalapenos! Short rib inside takes it to a new level of delicious!
I should start off by being honest. I liked it so much we went two nights in a row. Yes, I got made fun of for going to the same place twice when Vegas has so much to offer. But that second time I just had to get their dessert again- which I will get to later. Our first time what blew it out of the water was our waitress. She was impeccable. Her passion and drive for her job were evident and contagious. She made us excited to be there. To start we ordered the Toes in the Sand cocktail which was tasty! Then we ordered the Texas Twinkies for an appetizer and I highly recommend them!! For our entree we split the BBQ plate. It was a sampling of their grilled chicken, sausage, short rib, and salmon. The salmon stole the show for me. We got the green beans as a side that they complemented nicely. Now the finale that dictated our trip... dessert. We ordered the chocolate cake. And it isn’t just any chocolate cake. It is a bacon, bourbon cake. It is the best chocolate cake I have ever had. And it was HUGE! That being said. The dessert menu had so many intriguing options that I convinced my boyfriend to go back the next day for just dessert. We ordered the peanut butter pie and the butterscotch, pecan cake. And man I liked it better!! You need to come here just for dessert! I left both times completely full and satisfied.
Gluten free southern cooking!!! That’s it, that’s the review. But in all seriousness this is a location that cares about making tasty food for those of us whose bodies have betrayed them. As someone who hasn’t had fried chicken in years, the feeling of biting in to gluten free fried chicken is just unmatched. Atmosphere was amazing, noisy because of the crowd but much quieter than any other restaurant we have visited in Vegas. Service was amazing, and our server really made sure to cater for my dietary requirements and even made some great recommendations like the key lime pie. Will definitely be visiting this chain when we get back to DC.
The food here is exquisite. Definitely pricey but wow. The chicken was crisped to perfection. The waffles, absolutely delicious. Delightful watermelon. The deviled eggs might have stolen the show with how good the bacon jam was. Only critique is how loud it is inside but overall extremely pleasant visit.
A big group of us were recently in Vegas for my nieces birthday and had to hit Yard Bird brunch AND dinner while there (sorry, not sorry). The atmosphere is awesome. Very lively being right there on restaurant row. Service is always spot on. Our servers were very attentive and knew the menu well. There were 7 of us total. We LOVED the chicken and waffles (Nashville Hot style), Cajun chicken pasta, short ribs, oh and the steak! We are still full and still reminiscing about how decadent everything was. Thank you, you’ll be seeing us again soon!
If you’re on a mission to find the holy grail of fried chicken, Yardbird brings the gospel. I stopped in for lunch and went straight for the Lewellyn’s Fine Fried Chicken—a bold move that paid off in crispy, golden dividends. The skin was flawlessly seasoned with just the right amount of Southern heat, and the meat underneath was juicy, tender, and clearly loved before it hit the fryer. The vibe? Think classy Southern charm meets whiskey-slick modern bar—bottles stacked high, warm lighting, and a cocktail list that could get you into trouble fast (in the best way possible). I parked myself at the bar, and it was a solid decision—great service and front-row seats to the booze library. Menu-wise, Yardbird doesn’t play around. From deviled eggs with bacon jam to skillet cornbread and shrimp & grits, everything screams indulgence. But honestly, that chicken? It’s the main event, no backup dancers needed. Would I come back? Hell yes. Next time, I’m pairing that chicken with waffles and maybe a “Clarity & Courage” cocktail (tequila, licor 43, and tropical vibes). This spot is a must if you’re into upscale comfort food with a bourbon buzz. 5/5 – Southern comfort with swagger. Come hungry, leave in a food coma.
If you’re looking for simple comfort food served with a warm smile, Yardbird is the place to be. From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel welcomed with their friendly and attentive service. It’s clear they take pride in creating a welcoming atmosphere. The chicken — was seasoned well, crispy on the outside, and tender on the inside, every bite was full of flavor. Whether you go for the classic fried chicken or the jerk flavored(don’t expect traditional Jamaican jerk) wings, you won’t be disappointed. Yardbird strikes a perfect balance between delicious food and a stylish presentation. It’s a must-visit spot for foodies and anyone who appreciates genuine hospitality.
this is our 2nd visit but didn’t realize it had been over 4 years since we had been last. We didn’t have reservations but came around 3pm so there was availability. We were seated at one of the couches which was perfect to people watch, relax and snack. For drinks I tried the Velvet Blackberry Bourbon and the server said it was similar to an old fashioned and not as sweet as their blackberry lemonade. I loved it, I had two! My husband just had a beer on tap, Dirty Dog IPA. We ended up ordering some starters to share instead of a full entree. We had the classic deviled eggs, which were just ok, not my favorite deviled eggs. Then the fried green tomato BLT stack was my favorite. The flavor of the pork belly, tomato and pimento cheese were so great together. My husband remembered the chicken biscuits from our last visit so we got this as well. They are good, just hard to eat. Our server was friendly and attentive throughout our visit. Overall, a great meal and drinks and will probably be back.
